parents and participants of The
Lighthouse Boys 2 Men program were invited to attend the UL Spring
Football game at Papa John Cardinal Stadium. It was a time of
tailgating and football Cardinal style. Everyone had a great time of
fellowship; it was an opportunity for the mentors, parents
and
the young men to get to know each other. The program wants to expose
all of the boys to as many opportunities as possible. Many
expressed that they would like to play professional football. That was
a great opportunity to share that before you go Pro you have to get
your education to get to that level. God given physical ability only
goes so far; you have to apply yourself in the class room and be ready
for the opportunities that are set before you. The Boys 2 Men core
theme is Jeremiah 29:11 " I know the plans I have for you, plans to
prosper you , plans for a hope and a future..." The Boys 2 Men leaders
want to thank GE, Outreach Christian Fellowship and The
Lighthouse for supporting this ministry tha changes lives one at a
time.
